In April 2025, we embarked on a Community outreach to the Edawu Mentally-ill Center in Ainu, Oju LGA, Benue State to provide Solar-powered street light to the immediate community of the center.

We identified the fact that the absence of light posed a challenge to the continuous operation of the center as it became vulnerable and exposed to encroachers. We also felt that, it was expedient to constantly keep watch over inmates at the center day and night in order to meet their needs and prevent them from straying any time.

We are happy to partner with the Methodist Church as well as appreciate the Ainu Community for their support as we provided the street light.

It is our desire to do even more as we see the need to.

In June 2025, our Community volunteers located 50 vulnerable widows in Ainu, Oju LGA, Benue State.

We were happy to lend a hand by providing some financial assistance and food items for them…It is our desire to reach as many vulnerable people as possible in our community outreach programs.

We co-sponsored a debate competition for girls

2023 Schools outreach program on #SanitizeTheGirlChild

2023 Schools outreach program on #SanitizeTheGirlChild held at Keme Balogun Senior Secondary School, Ikorodu, Lagos State where over 600 school girls were mentored on Leadership, self-awareness, body and menstrual hygiene.

This program was done in collaboration with the United States Government Exchange Alumni in Lagos. Facilitators and mentors who are counsellors, child right advocates, mentors on leadership etc were on hand to engage with the students. At the end of the program, all the students and female teachers were given sanitary pads free.

2021 Media Literacy Program to mentor students and create awareness on media literacy

In 2021, we received a small grant of $10,000 from the United States Department of State in Washington DC administered by AlumniTIES to mentor students and create awareness on media literacy so we can all fight misinformation, disinformation and hate speech…

Sanngo Senior Secondary School, Agege, Lagos was chosen for the program and every week for 6-months, our volunteers went to the school to mentor students on media literacy and we are happy it was a huge success. The grand finale was attended by the Public Affairs Officer of the United States Consulate, Lagos, Steven Ibelli and many notable TV personalities.
